$200 RCAF Flight suit of jet figghter pilot of Avro CF-100. Name of pilot, squadron etc. He was grounded for medical reasons circa 1960, so it is in EXCELLENT CONDITON. Lightwright, with neck silk, Flight Lieutenant rank, pilot's wings. Contemporary with AVRO ARROW. I obtained it directly from his widow. If you add boots and wedge cap with RCAF officer's badge, you would have a complete outfit for display or reenactment. RARE.
$200 RCAF pilot's battledress blue blouse (jacket) complete with WWII service ribbons and Queen's Crown pilot wings. Distinguished Flying Cross ribbon is one of the ribbons. Jacket is in mint condition. Includes peaked RCAF cap with officer's cap badge. NO NAME sadly. From the estate of an RCAF F-86 Sabrejet pilot but it is NOT his as he was serving in the late 1950s.
SOLD 2024 OCT to KJ - RARE battledress blouse AIRBORNE CANADA Staff Sergeant. This one belonged to an unnamed instructor at A-35 Parachute Training Centre in Shilo, Manitoba. Found by fellow collector at a New Westminster antique show along with a WWII U.S. Paratrooper Jacket which also has AIRBORNE CANADA titles, an instructor badge and Sergeant rank. I believe that they belonged to the same man. Original Printed Pegasus patches on both sleeves which is really rare. BD blouse has serious moth damage to front but the rarity with the rare insignia makes it special. Two medal ribbons showing he was overseas, almost certainly with 1 Canadian Parachute Battalion. I spoke with others who were instructors at Shilo A-35 Parachute Training School (late Pte. Monty Marsden and Knobby Clark) but we could not figure out who this soldier was.
