Weapons are tools of the soldier, sailor, airman and policeman. The study of their design, evolution and use interests many people.
SPECIAL NOTE: 2020-05-01 Prime Minister Trudeau used the dictatorial powers of the Order in Council for arbitrarily PROHIBIT these and about 1,500 other types of previously legal and NOT problematic firearms and accessories. He did NOT pass it through Parliament or the Senate until much later. Owners now had two years to dispose of them. The announcement was made on May 1st (2020) which, not surprisingly, is the day the Communists celebrate every year. Then this “Lieberal-NDP government froze all legal hand gun transactions in Canada. Heirlooms may no longer be passed down to a family member. When someone dies, their handguns are supposed to be surrendered and destroyed. They can be donated to a museum (but what is the tax receipt value for something that cannot be sold? i.e. = 0) or they can be exported to the USA where their law allows it but this is expensive.
Now, in September 2024, they have spent 67 MILLION dollars and have not expropriated a single gun! In the meantime the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, our federal police force, have lost between 2020 and 2024 September.
- 122 pistols (With scary large capacity magazines)
- 55 shotguns
- 23 rifles (They call them carbines if police have them, but call them “assault weapons” if private citizens own them)
- 3 sub-machine guns (Full automatic, pistol calibre)
- 2 machine guns (Full automatic. We are told by the Liberals and NDP that MGs are for killing the most people as quickly as possible, so why do the RCMP have machine guns?)
