Modified Conventional Pattern vehicles (MCP)

“Modified Conventional Pattern” (MCP) vehicles. These were basically civilian pattern vehicles that were modified slightly at the factories for military use.

Many were built as right hand drive for overseas service because Canada’s military planned to fight alongside their British allies and therefore used similar weapons, vehicles, aircraft and ammunition etc.
